Our shirts and shirt dresses are designed to give a slim fit with flattering back seams and tapered 3/4 length sleeves. Due to the variety of cottons used, we have cut some slightly larger or smaller to make use of the character of the weave, but generally you will be the same size in all our designs. We have provided specific notes on each dress.
START BY MEASURING YOUR SHOULDERS FOR A PERFECT FIT
Our designs fit true to size, but since they are tailored to sit perfectly on the shoulder, we advise that the best place to start with your measurement is with your shoulder width.
To measure your shoulder width, think of a line going from your armpit vertically to your shoulder, this is the shoulder point. Hold the tape measure here and measure straight across your back to the same point on the other shoulder.
It may be helpful to compare our product measurements to a similar garment you already own and whose fit you like. To measure the shoulder width, place the garment front side down on a flat surface and measure from the top of the sleeve, straight across the back, to the top of the other sleeve.
If you would prefer a looser fit, please choose two sizes up
Our model is 5″10 and is wearing a size S. The length of the dresses increases by 1cm for each size. The shirts are cut to a length that will work tucked in or worn outside.
